Welcome to UNMASKD. By accessing or using the UNMASKD mobile application, website, and related services ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

1. About UNMASKD

UNMASKD is a personal growth and self-reflection application designed to help users explore emotional patterns, behavioural habits, identity masks, journaling, and guided rebuilding practices.

UNMASKD is intended for educational, wellness, and self-development purposes only.

2. Not Medical or Mental Health Advice

UNMASKD is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or crisis-support service.

The content within the App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition or medical condition.

If you are experiencing severe emotional distress, mental health concerns, or a crisis situation, please seek support from a qualified healthcare professional or contact emergency services in your area.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

UNMASKD may offer subscriptions, premium features, and one-time purchases through Apple's App Store.

  • Payments are processed securely by Apple.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
  • Prices and subscription offerings may change over time.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any journal entries, reflections, voice recordings, or personal content you create within the App.

By using the App, you grant UNMASKD permission to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the service.

Your personal reflections and journal entries are not publicly visible and are not sold to third parties.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the App or its services.
  • Upload malicious, harmful, or unlawful content.
  • Share unauthorised access to premium features or subscription benefits.
  • Use the App in a manner that interferes with other users' enjoyment of the service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, frameworks, text, visuals, graphics, designs, and concepts within UNMASKD, including the emotional mask framework, are owned by UNMASKD and/or Rob Goddard unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNMASKD, its owners, affiliates, and creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, emotional, or financial damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms & Conditions are violated or if we reasonably believe your use of the App poses a risk to the service or other users.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes become effective when the revised Terms are published. Continued use of the App after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
